• At age 14 escapes from a Toronto Police jail cell while wearing two sets of Police handcuffs and a set of leg shackles.

• Escapes from a screwed, locked, and nailed shut wooden coffin lowered into 30 feet of cold, black, lake water in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.

• Sets world record for the fastest escape from a maximum security "Death Row" prison cell at the Carleton County Jail in Ottawa, Canada. Santini is strip searched, searched with a metal detector, handcuffed, chained, and locked into the same "Death Row" cell formerly occupied by the last man to be publicly hanged in Canada. Escape time: 13 minutes!

• Is featured on Canada's leading music video program, "Much Music's Much on Demand". On this nationally broadcast television show Santini escaped from handcuffs, leather restraints, and a straitjacket while being pulled by an electric winch towards a running chainsaw and 4 razor sharp swords. Pre-publicity about this performance made national news and was featured in at least 12 national Canadian newspapers.

• Escapes after being chained to a metal cross whose base is loaded with 5 pounds of gunpowder set by a timer to explode at 60 seconds. Escape time: 59 seconds!

• Steve Santini is named by the world famous "Ripley's Believe it or Not!" as "The World's Most Extreme Escape Artist". In the 2006 edition of the Ripley's internationally published book called, "Planet Eccentric", Santini is featured in a photographic layout and a printed interview as "The World's Most Extreme Escape Artist".

• In front of 35,000 live audience members and a national audience of over 15 million live television viewers Santini escaped from a locked metal vault that was being blasted by 3 propane flamethrowers. This stunt, described by the media as "The most dangerous escape test ever attempted" was carried live across Canada by CHUM Television, Canada's largest media provider.
